The School Bungalow
I have heard before that one of the best places to buy homes is near schools, they usually reflect safety and life. Also, they tend to have higher demand when it’s time to sell as many parents love the idea of owning a home right by their children’s school. I named this “The School House Bungalow” because the front porch faces a large school. I had a very tight budget on this project so the challenge was to furnish it in a way that looks appealing without spending the extra money. You will notice that I didn’t install quartz countertops which due to budget, which is rare for me to skip, but it is important in my business to not get carried away but to know when to spend and where to spend it. Overall, I am happy with the final project and this home provides Airbnb guests an affordable cozy home while visiting Kansas City! My favorite part about it is that it’s right by the highway with literally 5-10 minutes access to all major spots (downtown, midtown, crossroads, The Plaza, and UMKC).
